Radon potential is everywhere when a house is in contact with soil.
I say this because I just got off the phone with someone about radon testing in a house on a slab. They don't want a radon test because the house is on a slab, because we all know that you do not have radon in a house on a slab - THIS IS FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH and I'm being very sarcastic. We installed a radon reduction system in a home on a slab TODAY, why, because there was high radon in that house on a slab.

I WILL SAY THIS AGAIN, why open yourself up to a potential lawsuit if someone were to take misguided advise and not test for radon. And then they live in this home and if it has high radon they develop lung cancer and sue you. Its not very expensive to conduct a test.

Testing is the only way to see if radon is in a building. IF YOUR BUILDING IS IN CONTACT WITH THE SOIL THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR RADON!
